Hi Anita,
The Lugol's bottle should come with a dropper, and the most common dose is one drop per day or every other day, mixed in with drinking water of course. One drop contains a lot of iodine already, even if you are using the 5% one.

After starting supplementation with Lugol's 5% very recently, my lung condition improved dramatically (COPD) requiring less albuterol and less oxygen. It appears I will be getting off the oxygen permanently. Perhaps more important, the fatigue I was experiencing was so severe that I was hospitalized.

What I don't know is how much Lugol's to take. I am a small slender woman, 5'3" and 120 lbs. I would much appreciate your suggestion concerning dosage. Thank you.

I'm in my late 50's and have tken melatonin every night for years. Worked beautifully. Starting last week it stopped working as well, although I was still getting drowsy, so I upped the dosage. Today I woke up with all the side effects--nausea, foggy brain, sluggish. I am going to stop it entirely and use it only for "emergencies".
